The Nightingale Served Up on China Plates

The Emperor of China loves music. The nightingale is fetched from the forest to perform for him. He loves his loyal little bird until the day a mechanical nightingale arrives as a gift from Japan.

“The Nightingale”, the classic originally penned by Hans Christian Anderson, is retold by R. Andre in poetic form. Originally published in 1899, this Victorian book contains amazing illustrations which add to the story through comic-book like panels and extra events.

Pages are suitable for coloring by adults and children alike.
