I like to think of friends as ships on the ocean, that’s why we call them friendships.

Friend Ships is a series of…you guessed it… friendship stories for kids! Join Billy the boat, Sally the sailboat, Philip the fishing boat, Rose Wellington the yacht, and Uncle Tony the tugboat, in their friendship adventures on the ocean! This series consists of fun and educational short bedtime stories for kids.

Safe at Shore is the first book in the Friend Ships series. In this friendship book for kids, Billy learns that while ships are safe at shore…that may not be where ships belong. The sea is full of adventures. It may not be the safest place but it’s a place where ships grow and learn a lot about life AND themselves.

Friendship children’s books make great short stories before bedtime!

Review

“As a school psychologist and parent of three children, Eric DeSio’s books are a must have in any library! My kids consistently choose them for their bedtime read alouds; they love the rhythmic and catchy language and creative images while I love the important messages and opportunities to teach about social emotional development and compassion. DeSio’s writing voice uniquely speaks to children and parents alike, truly people of all ages!”
