The Affinity Theory: The Affinity Saga – Book 1

Symone Watson’s first day out of orientation couldn’t be any sweeter: enlisted to the greatest superpowered defense unit in Uri City, whisked on a hovercraft to take on her first mission, a brand-new uniform to break in, and an exclusive mentorship with the Company’s top Defender and Elite Unit Leader – Malcolm Bennett.

Malcolm’s day, meanwhile, couldn’t be any worse: chewed out by his boss for failing the last mission, saddled with another newbie on the Elite Unit, and still reeling from the nightmares that haunt him worse than the countless opponents he’s faced over the years.

While Symone’s insatiable appetite for a real brawl drives her to break down Malcolm’s impenetrable emotional walls, the greatest threat to Uri City’s powered population emerges and goads the superpowered Defenders into a maniacal race against the clock to stop him and his team of assassins from murdering one of the Company’s own. And as Malcolm and Symone’s relationship evolves, the threads that bind their hearts and their powers together may prove to be the key to the survival of the Defenders, the Company, and all of Uri City.
