The Catholic Treasure Chest Comic Book Treasury of Catholic History and Social Teaching

The rich history of Catholic history and social teaching takes center stage in this latest volume collecting stories from the pages of George Pflaum’s comic book series, Treasure Chest of Fun & Fact, which was distributed to Catholic schoolchildren for more than 25 years starting in the1940s.

This volume explores a variety of engaging tales from Catholic history as well as collecting stories pertaining to the rich social teachings of the Catholic Church.

These include a perhaps-unexpected array of considerations of issues ranging from labor concerns to racism, religious freedom to war, many far ahead of their time in prioritizing matters that would only come to the fore in later years.

This edition joins other volumes in this series focused on Catholic feasts and moral teachings, the Mass, and more, collected by Golden Key Media.
