Fox River Comics Camp: An Original Graphic Novel

A delightful early-reader graphic novel that captures adventures in imagination and creativity at comics camp

“Fox River Comics Camp is a great book for kids who want to learn to make comics! And we know, because we WERE those kids!” –Raina Telgemeier and Scott McCloud, New York Times bestselling creators of The Cartoonists Club

Fox River Comics Camp is both a fun story and an interactive guide, following five young artists who are excited to learn all about comics and how to make them.

Each camper encounters different challenges and finds creative solutions by working together–from Fawn, who’s a skilled artist but struggles to finish their drawings, to Ducky, who falters when their art doesn’t look exactly like the comics they love to read.

Join the campers as they bring their ideas to life on the page with the help of their instructor, Puma, who is always ready with a helpful tip or explanation.

With plenty of games and activities for readers along the way, Fox River Comics Camp is sure to delight both kids and adults while inviting them to imagine and create their own comics.
