QUEST FOR THE HINAKIRIN – Issue 1: The Vice men

New sci-fi comic series displaying the power of light over darkness.

“The dominion of Dawn will be tested, my apprentice. Our glorious light will cease, plunging us into deep darkness. Only the words spoken from the HinaKirin will restore it. That book is sacred, written by the spirit of the living light itself. But due to its unfettered power, our ancestors hid it. You, Jaira, must find it. Move quickly, lest the book falls into nefarious hands, for there are men of violence who lust for its power….” -Seer Ifa Amagezi

Join the quest to find the most sacred book in the world. Using the HinaKirin as a metaphor for the bible, author and illustrator, Michelle St. Claire, paints a beautiful picture of an epic journey. This series is filled with rich color, gorgeous line art, and episodic story-telling. The story is imaginative and wholly unique, a hallmark of St. Claire’s style. Stay tuned for a new issue released each week, documenting the journey. There are villains, heroes and everything in between! Stay tuned! By the way, in this issue, you’ll meet the notorious Vice men and learn about the legend of the HinaKirin.
