A Thread of Silk A Story from Aleppo: A story from the collection about the land of olives and jasmine

In the city of Aleppo, where ancient markets intertwine with the sounds of the loom, begins a journey unlike any other… Taj, a girl who loves colors and threads, accompanies her grandmother into the heart of the old markets, where she finds a door leading to a distant time – when Aleppine silk was woven by skillful hands and traded across the world.
There, she meets Abu al-Yusr, the wise weaver, who reveals to her a gentle secret: that every thread carries a story, that art can be a mirror of the homeland, and that what is made with the heart remains eternal – like the golden threads that weave the timeless history of Aleppo.
