Nick Fury’s appearance in the special scene after the end credits of Iron Man may not be the last we see of the man with the eye patch. Fans have assumed that Samuel L. Jackson will naturally resume the role in the forthcoming Avengers movie, but now we have a little more evidence to support…
Did you happen to, like me, not stay through the credits of Iron Man to see that top-secret meeting between Tony Stark and Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D.? Well, now you can catch it on YouTube, or by clicking the video player below. It’s some bootleg, Blair Witch-style footage, so we’ll see how long it stays…
Dear Paramount, Please stop teasing us with Iron Man movie stuff. It’s getting to the point where the anticipation is actually causing physical pain. You’ve sold us. We’re there on opening day. Thanks. Apple.com’s movie trailer section scored an exclusive clip of Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark, taking flight for the first time…
In a new interview with SuperHeroHype, actor Terrence Howard gives an inside look at the filming of this summer’s Iron Man, as well as more than a few hints for the future of the franchise. Howard indicates pretty clearly that his character, a military man who’s initially skeptical of Tony Stark, will eventually take up…
One of the things made Marvel Comics stand out from other publishers back in the Silver Age was the concept of a shared universe. Other publishers would have guest stars every now and then, but Stan Lee reasoned that if all these costumed types were all running around New York City, they should be bumping into each…
Marvel Studios appears to be sowing the seeds for an Avengers film with the latest news regarding this summer’s Incredible Hulk. William Hurt, who portrays General Thaddeus Ross in the film, revealed to MTV that his character will appear in a scene with Iron Man, played by Robert Downey Jr. Hurt went on to discuss…

Jackson has been added to Jon Favreau’s Iron Man cast as none-other-than Nick Fury. Aint It Cool News first broke the story on Thursday with an…
Entertainment Weekly just released the cast picture for next summer’s Iron Man. The line-up shows us Robert Downey Jr. as wealthy weapon-maker Tony Stark, Gwyneth Paltrow as his administrator Pepper Potts, Terence Howard as his buddy/bodyguard (and later War Machine) Jim Rhodes, and a clean-headed Jeff Bridges as mentor (and villain?) Obadiah Stane. Those of…
If the fighter jet scenes in next year’s Iron Man movie look very realistic, that’s because they were filmed at Edwards Air Force Base with about a dozen Marines, 150 Airmen, and real Air Force aircraft – and some of the newest stuff at that! Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and Lt. Col. Jim Rhodes…
The first glimpse of the titular main character from Jon Favreau’s Iron Man was recently posted thanks to our friends over at IGN.com. Keep in mind – this is the very first suit built our hero, as first seen in the comics. So don’t expect the shiny red and gold suit we see today. The film…
