So you all saw Iron Man 2, and we here at ComicMix want to keep that Tony Stark buzz going! So, we did a little scouring of the net and found this lovely gem. We’re pretty sure Jarvis was recording this video in case Tony ever needed resuscitation while in his hot tub. Or maybe…
As you fine folks try to contain your excitement for the release of a little film by the name of Iron Man 2, we here at ComicMix would like to help you out. It turns out Mr. Stark has been busy promoting his new film in interesting ways, and as such, we want to share…
Kudos to our friend Russ Rogers, for finding this gem of a mashup. Normally we give you guys a cool trailer mashed with another trailer. But today, we’ve got something far cooler. Take Joss Whedon’s interweb hit “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-a-long Blog” and re-imagine it as an old school top down RPG ala Dragon Warrior. What…
Tim Gunn, fresh off his stint in the Iron Man armor and his guest appearances with Aquaman, reunites with Alan Kistler to discuss super-hero fashion and judge the looks of Mr. Miracle, Star Sapphire, Power Girl, Catwoman, Spider-Man and Batwoman on this episode of Crazy Sexy Geeks! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fQwU7uUPcU
As found over at People @ Parks… What do you get when you cross Star Wars, Disney, and a comedian with too much time on his hands? Two minutes of lame impressions, and several figures you wouldn’t pay a single bloody Disney dollar for.
Normally I have some coy and cute way to setup these little clips. I use some alliterations, and a few turns of phrases to make you giggle a gaggle at the you-tubery I trot out (see what I did there!?). But really, there’s not much I need to do here other than allow you to…
A couple of weeks ago, the trailer for IRON MAN 2 came out and people are STILL talking about how cool it was to see a version of the “briefcase armor.” But some of you may not be familiar with this. What exactly briefcase armor? Why is it cool? How has it evolved over time?…
Since March Madness is slowly dissipating into subtle paranoia at this point, we figured we’d ease you down with this little intro to a cartoon from the amazing early 90’s sect. Debuting opposite “Wish Kid” (starring that AHHHH! Kid from Home Alone…) came this little gem of a series. Like the Super-Globetrotters, the Pro-Stars seem…
Let’s face it, if you’re anything like us, you’ve barely got enough time in between blogging about how much you hate/love the iPad, Blackest Night, Deadpool Corps, Jim and Pam’s baby, and downloading torrents of movies you wouldn’t pay 10 bucks to see in a crowded theater, to see ALL the great stuff floating out…
It’s disturbing how well the two of these stories can be combined. So let’s see– that means Nervous Rex is Killer Croc in the sequel, and Kelsey Grammer does the voice of the Penguin… but where do we put John Ratzenberger? The Riddler? What do you say, Christopher Nolan? Are you up for rebooting one…
Patron saint and sinner of Munden’s Bar Del Close would have been 76 today. If you want to read about who Del was and why he was important to comics and comedians, Mike Gold has a great recollection here while reviewing a biography of the man. If you want to see why he’s the patron…
I know we’ve shared some “funny” versions of your favorite cartoon shows in the past, but folks, today is not about jokes. It’s about roundhouse kicks to the face. It’s about flying fists of justice. It’s about sumo-wrestlers and kids who shout “Too Much!”. It’s about a guy named “Super Ninja” voiced by someone who…
