DC 52 #52 goes 48, SpongeBob gets two different items, very varied variants, and… why weekly Wonder Woman?

well the hollywood reporter says the metal men have been optioned for a movie and some of the people involved with it may be lauren schuler donger who certainly has been known to do her little bit for the superhero cause Geoff Johns is saying that he's going to be helping to develop the property for film and will get an executive producer nod on the movie coming up in may on the 13th which is a sunday the cartoon networks adult swim showcase is going to premiere the long awaited pilot of the drinky crow show now we gotta tell ya even though some of the things that adult swim are wacky and certainly adult oriented hence the name adult swim
this one goes way over the top based on tony millionaires long running comic strip you gotta check this out mark it down for the drinky crow show coming sunday may 13th on the cartoon network myspace has announced that they're going to be doing their black curtain screening of spider-man 3 a week before it opens for the rest of us that will be on april the 30th they've not chosen a city though for the screening and they're inviting people to vote online some of the facilities included in the running cleveland, cincinnati, hodalulu, indianapolis, kansas city and louisville and it'll come just like they did for 300 with lots of special deals and special giveaways at the screening for more information check out myspace
e-entertainment television has a new late night show coming up featuring comedian and author chelsea hamblor is the host she'll be premiering in july in a 60 minute every week night show that'll give her a chance to comment on pop culture and current news stories and she'll have guests, viewer call ins and comedy segments too george lucas says that indiana jones number 4 is on schedule to begin filming this june he also said that harrison ford will be playing indy as his real age which is 64
which means quoting lucas he'll be a little bit more suspenseful than speedy turner classic movies is looking to bring mom, dad, kids, grandma, grandpa, everybody together for one night a week for their fun day night at the movies it'll be airing on sundays from june to august at 8 pm the idea is to bring in classic movies that adults enjoyed when they were kids and would like to share with their own family and it'll be hosted by tom kenney the voice of sponge bob
some of the films you'll see include ebon casello meet frankenstein, mr smith goes to washington, pride of the yankees, shane, singing in the rain, and wizard of oz ComicMix.com it was called the grindhouse theaters that played back to back movies featuring uncensored sexuality and hardcore thrills well it didn't exactly set the box office on fire so i gotta ask why didn't you go see grindhouse
i like to think it's because you're waiting to see what Matt Raub had to say so now you have no excuse here's matt so i got to see grindhouse about a week ago and i just can't sit on my hat anymore i've gotta talk about it and i'll tell you if you want a roller coaster of emotion go to see the first half of this flick i'll get into more about that in a little bit
and because this film is such a big deal and split actually into two mini movies i had to review them both separately so let's start the film actually starts off with robert rodriguez's planet terror about an evil general played by bruce willis who unleashes a toxic gas into the air of a texas town it's then up to a relatively motley crew of people to escape and find a cure
in this group we get rose mcgowan, freddie rodriguez, and marley shellton with many more all of which i absolutely loved equally now the film was exactly what i wanted it to be including grainy footage, missing frames, and lots of gore i give this picture a huge 9 out of 10 with a big grinning face right behind it nothing in this picture made me doubt rodriguez's skills in any way
buckle up because a new kind of terror is coming with that in mind it is now my displeasure to review the second half of the grindhouse quintent tarantino's death proof would be that now this film was all wrong from the get go for some reason since he made the kill bill films tarantino has been all about women empowerment
now i'm not saying that there's anything wrong with this but when you market a movie as kurt russell being an evil slasher killer and then have a scene where he's literally crying for his life to a group of girls who decide to take revenge you really have to question what tarantino's thinking i was so disappointed in this film i wanted to be scared by russell's performance of stuntman mike
and tremble at the sight of his death proof car but instead i found myself getting angry and just sad because tarantino loves women so much and just laughs in the face of his male audience i sadly give death proof a 2 out of 10 with a look of discontent better luck next time quinton
overall if you love the concept of a grindhouse movie you will die for planet terror unfortunately death proof is a different story and don't forget to check out my full review over at the site just keep searching around and if you do get a chance to see the flick let me know what you think comments are fully functional on the site as of right now
until next time you keep reading and i'll keep bitching i'm matt ross comment mix dot com what's coming out this is this week alright let's move down the rack nice and slow this week

Chelsea Handler is the WORST! What you don't mention is the fact that she's currently sleeping with the president of E! – which would explain why someone who is terribly unfunny and had a program that got lower ratings than the John McEnroe show on MSNBC is allowed to have a nightly show.
