As I write this (Friday), the Suicide Squad movie has grossed $318, 779,276 domestically and $413,000,000 internationally for a total worldwide gross of $731,779,276. It’s been playing since the start of August and, in the U.S., it’s still on the top ten list. It has now out-grossed the first Iron Man film. It has also…
Boy, is this week’s episode going to make Mike Gold happy… In this week’s episode airing on Cartoon Network at 8:00 PM titled “Mystery in Space!”, Aquaman joins Batman in a thrilling space adventure on Adam Strange’s home planet of Rann. There our heroes join forces to battle Gordanian General Kreegaar and his reptilian horde….
While Fables creator Bill Willingham is keeping mum about the details surrounding his next original graphic novel set in the Fables universe, he recently mentioned that the first half of the mysterious project was written in the shadow of another famous fantasy scribe: Rudyard Kipling. According to ReadExpress.com: "I wrote the first half of it…
Warner Bros. inked a deal with Greg Berlanti to direct its live-action Green Lantern movie, based of course on the DC Comics character. Known primarily for his writing and executive producing TV credits (e.g. Everwood, Dawson’s Creek, Jack & Bobby, Brothers & Sisters), Berlanti will pen the script for the movie with Brothers & Sisters…
Have you ever seen a Venn diagram? Here’s an example: John Venn first published these diagrams in 1880, although similar diagrams were used up to a century earlier. In the above example, the adjectives “happy,” “short” and “male” all intersect in the middle, with overlaps also occurring between happy short females and sad short males…

Some of the most consistently RIGHT genre spoofs I've seen — and "sui generis," on top of that. The wordplay and the shadowplay make for a most rewarding combination. That stare-down sequence toward the end of this episode, along with its abrupt resolution, is a gem.
Great series. Have been throughly entertained by each installment thus far. But being new to this feature, what is the back story, if any, of the title characters?
Lee, I'm going to leave that to Andrew. He checks these comments regularly, so hang in there and I'm sure he'll speak volumes…… as he's busy at work preparing the all-new S&A graphic novel – in color, no less – for free right here at ComicMix!And that's my hype for the day…
Mike, how do I get to issues other than the first and the current? Clicking on the hyperlink at the top of the page takes me to to the first issue; clicking on the picture showing on the front page takes me to the current issue. Neither have links to the second, and I don't see an index anywhere.
Hi! Thanks for the kind comments. Glad you like S&A. You can read more about both S&A here at ComicMix in Martha's article of a few weeks back (should be searchable) or at http://www.simoneandajax.com, their official website. The 30-page story of how these two met was serialized in 3 comics over two titles a while back, so it would be tricky to find, but will be re-presented here at ComicMix in January, and all for FREE, just before the new, color stories will start. Hope you'll keep following S&A here to see what their story is.
I'm really enjoying this. I don't read a lot of this kind of comic, and I can tell I won't like most of the others, but I like this a lot.
They had links at the top to all issues so far, but removed them. I preferred them there. If you go to the Comics page, though, you can see all installments for all of the comics.
Thanks!
My favorite episode so far. The stool-lemming was priceless.
