Dang. Second woman character is secondary character's love interest, first one was femme fatale. Got any who aren't necessarily Other (i.e., any independent actors not playing off men)?
Then go ahead and write that story, Elayne. It's not John's responsibility to tell any story but the one he wants. Over the course of his career,he's created plenty of strong women characters, women who aren't defined by their relationships to men. For now, that's not where this story is. Maybe down the road it will be. But every story is not required to contain the same elements as every other story.
What a great way to read comics! I am having a great time reading through this story. Very good storyline and characters! Is there a previous issue or way to get a story overview?
