Almost Us

When Aayan arrives on campus after a semester lost to COVID lockdowns, he doesn’t expect to find friendship. Reserved and often misunderstood, he’s always connected better with people older than him. But one unexpected hello changes everything.

A new friendship with Raghav leads to late-night drives, unspoken bonds, and a growing circle that includes Kabir, Simran, and Rhea- a group that feels like home for the first time in Aayan’s life. They share laughter, rooftops, rebellion, and secrets that no one else sees. They stand up to seniors, win elections, survive betrayals, and hold each other through heartbreaks.

But college life is never just fun and freedom.

As tensions rise and loyalties shift, Aayan begins to understand that some friendships are more fragile than they seem. The people you thought would stay… don’t. The people you silently love… might never know. And sometimes, the deepest connections are the ones that never had a name.

Told with raw emotion and haunting honesty, Almost Us is a powerful coming-of-age story about silent love, sudden goodbyes, and the kind of memories that shape who we become. It’s about friendships that feel like family – until they don’t.

This is not a typical college romance.
This is the story of what happens in between – the almosts.

If you’ve ever had a best friend who drifted away, a moment you can’t forget, or a love you never confessed… this story is for you.
