There’s a place called . . . Basement School!

Dad, What is summer school? Some of my friends are going to have to go to summer school.

Dad: Oh, well, summer school is something you have to do if you didn’t pass your classes or didn’t do what you were supposed to do during the year.

Kids: Will we have to do summer school?

Dad: Not if you did the right things. But, if you do you have to go to school all summer too.

Kids: That sounds awful. Kids take this in – we see their reaction
