If your kid hates reading but speaks fluent slang, this book was written for them.

Breeze Man vs. The Basic Overlord is a fast-paced, black-and-white, comic-style superhero book that turns the words kids already say into actual reading fuel.

This book includes a slang dictionary in the back that kids love flipping through and using as a reference.
It captures the goofy energy, slang, and chaos kids love while keeping the reading approachable, funny, and school-appropriate.

Why kids connect with it:

Uses the words kids already say, like NPC, GYATT, cooked, mid, and Crusty iPad Kid

Short, fast-paced chapters that never feel like work

Why parents and teachers love it:

Turns everyday slang into a bridge to reading instead of a distraction

Helps reluctant readers feel confident because the language feels familiar

Keeps everything age-appropriate while still feeling cool to kids

Designed for:

Grades 3-6 (Ages 8-12)

Part of the Breeze Man series:

This book is longer than the first, giving kids more story, more action, and more time with the characters they love, while still keeping chapters short and easy to follow.

What makes this book work:

Short, high-energy chapters that are easy to jump into

Interactive moments that keep kids engaged instead of zoning out

A balance of humor and structure that makes reading feel fun, not forced

The result:

A book that feels cool to kids, safe to adults, and turns “brain rot” into a powerful tool for getting kids to read.

This isn’t just a book.
It’s a vibe.
