“Don’t Do What The Dodo Does!” is child friendly, cartoon safety advice hidden underneath the idiotic antics of the dodos. Rhymes coupled with colourful cartoons, encourage children to see the dodos behaviour as ridiculous. Examples range from the extreme, (swimming in a volcano!) to the more mundane, (running with scissors). No child likes to be told what to do, but here they can identify careless behaviour for themselves and in assuming an authority role, tell the characters not to do it!
