Frog of Bogey Bog

Join us for a whimsical tale about a knight in shining armor who befriends a troubled frog. Young readers will delight in a runaway frog leg pie that hops off the table and out the door. The knight, who becomes a hero to his new friends in the bog, teaches us to care about small creatures around us. Youngsters who hear or read the rhythmic text by Caroll Knipe will live through Frog’s troubles and Knight’s response when he learns about the unkind plans of the castle’s cook. What is he up to? Colorful watercolors masterfully painted by Ken Schwab, bring the tale to life. All children, even the smallest, will love seeing the runaway pie and warm to the smiles of the heroic knight as frogs gather to make him their own.
