Gargoyles: Here in Manhattan Volume 2

Weaving together courtroom drama, action, and the overarching mythos of the gargoyle clan. With Goliath’s trial and Demona’s schemes, this issue promises high stakes and plenty of suspense.

In this thrilling volume, fans are reintroduced to the tension and intrigue that defines the series. The story kicks off with Goliath imprisoned, facing a trial that questions the very humanity of gargoyles. The district attorney is determined to argue that these creatures are not entitled to the same rights as humans, making Goliath’s situation dire. As Goliath navigates the courtroom drama, he finds himself relying on his human allies, most notably Elisa Maza, a NYPD detective and his love interest. Her support is crucial as they fight to prove that gargoyles are sentient beings deserving of respect and protection. Meanwhile, chaos reigns outside the prison walls. Dino Dracon wreaks havoc in Manhattan, escalating the stakes and drawing attention away from Goliath’s plight. Amidst this turmoil, the formidable Demona makes her grand return, intent on reclaiming power by seeking out three new keys. Her machinations threaten to tip the balance of power further against the gargoyles. Brooklyn and the rest of the clan must step up in Goliath’s absence, but the question looms: can they thwart Demona’s plans without their leader? The tension builds as alliances are tested and the fate of both Goliath and the city hangs in the balance.
