Harmony (from the KODI BLACKMAN series) by Ahmand Smith

In Harmony, an installation in the Kodi Blackman series, Ahmand Smith takes young readers on another inspiring adventure with Chicago’s own urban superhero, Kodi Blackman. When chaos erupts in Bronzeville, Kodi learns that not every battle is fought with strength-some are won through understanding.

Guided once again by his wise mentor, Gym Shoe, Kodi is sent on a mission to restore peace between humans and a frightened colony of bees. Along the way, he meets the powerful and compassionate Honey Da Bee, a queen determined to protect her community. Together, they discover that fear often grows where knowledge is missing-and that true heroes bring people together instead of pulling them apart.

Bursting with energy, heart, and valuable lessons, Harmony continues the legacy of Kodi Blackman-a hero who teaches kids to dream big, lead with love, and always strive for unity in their world.
