20-somethings Jeb and Tommy are hungry for waffles. But after stumbling into an inconspicuous villain bar in what was once a diner, they become henchmen-for-hire under the destructive duo A Door/A Bull. But not everything is syrup, strawberries, and roundhouse kicks. An ally breaks a villainous tenet by killing an innocent. He nabs the body and escapes into the night for a purpose unknown. Corpses and half-alive victims are turning up across the county with their skin completely flayed-the work of an elusive enigma known as PigSkin. A super scientist is using a mysterious device known as ‘The VAN’ to create life anew in the form of unstable, oompa-loompa-like minions. But as each minion is created, they bear witness to a prophecy foreshadowing their integration into the outside world, at a cost.Finding themselves in the middle of it all, Tommy, Jeb, and A Bull haphazardly team-up with Necropantser the corpse-pantsing villain, Simon the cigarette-eating automaton, and the elderly to stop PigSkin from stripping Velcro City’s population of its skin.
