Hollow Girl 20: Don’t Go Off Wandering

The original Hollow Girl is back, and this time it’s more than just a name. With Hollow Girl soulless and catatonic, Hannah – the vigilante’s former sidekick – finds herself a carer rather than a fellow crimefighter, ironically so considering her recent past. And when the time finally comes to get to work, Hannah is sidelined – apparently surplus to requirements.

But while Hollow Girl is out protecting a computer hacker from an army of gun-toting mercenaries sent after her by the amoral billionaire the hacker disgraced, Hannah decides to play with her own supernatural ability – astral projection. When you’ve spent the last couple of years mooning the spirit world, though, it’s probably not a good idea to leave yourself so vulnerable.

Written and illustrated by series creator Luke Cooper, Hollow Girl: Don’t Go Off Wandering – the 20th book in the series – is not just the blend of action and supernatural horror you’ve come to expect, but also an omen of the darkness yet to come.
