Exploring dungeons is deadly work. Adventurers risk everything for treasure and glory–but many never make it back alive. Traps, monsters, starvation… the deeper you go, the more bodies are left behind.

That’s where corpse bearers come in.

Nemu descends into the depths to recover the fallen, navigating deadly terrain, grieving families, and the realities no hero wants to think about. It’s dangerous, exhausting work, but someone’s got to do it.

She prefers to work alone. Until Garensis insists on tagging along, convinced that Nemu can help him find his missing sister. But he’s about to learn that bringing the dead home is never as simple as it sounds.
