Paper Chase: Torture Magic Novel 6.6

In 2020, Chase Meridian was kidnapped by a deluded TM with a grudge from a perceived slight from Chase during their college years. Chase was kidnapped and brainwashed, resulting in Stockholm Syndrome.

Her recovery did not go well, and later that year, she moved to Paris. Under the eye of Ops’ lead trauma therapist Bart Keppel’s old college friend, Chase became Sphere and lived an ordinary life.

In Chicago, former Bears’ player Dandy Webster is now in his sixties running a prestigious downtown Loop law firm. He’s always been lucky. Despite some weird events in his life as a child out in Los Angeles, he’d had a really ordinary life that he really enjoyed.

Neither of these people are going to experience an ordinary autumn day. They’re about to both become involved in the paper chase.
