Description

Kara Dolan, a successful author, had her world turned upside down by her husband Michael’s murder. She rejects the police’s assertion that the shooting was random, driven by remorse and grief. Until her very public collapse forces her to comply with her stepmother’s request to see a doctor, she tries to make sense of the unfathomable.

Investigative journalist who believes Kara is the only person who can discover it validates her concerns that her husband’s killer had a concealed motivation. She worries about her sanity when one of her fictional characters becomes rouge. Before she can separate fact from fiction, more issues come up, including a murderer who wants her out of the way and a vengeful fan whose ugly online comments turn into terrifying threats.
