Shakespeare Graphic Novel: Findlay Macbeth

125 page graphic novel adaptation of Shakespeare’s tragedy, with a comic twist. The debut novel of Kev F Sutherland, writer and artist who’s worked for Beano and Marvel comics, and most others inbetween. Enhanced second edition, now with greyscale halftoned artwork, published 2025. It’s 1977 and, in the small Scottish firm of Alba Industries, Findlay Macbeth is Salesman Of The Year. But when he gets overlooked for promotion, things turn ugly. Abigail’s Party meets The Scottish Play in this 125 page graphic novel. This edition is purely the comic strip (other editions are available which include Shakespeare’s full text at the back). “By the pricking of my thumbs, something comic this way comes” ★★★★★ Amazing “Got this today. Read this today. Couldn’t put it down. What an amazing and imaginative spin on a Shakespeare classic. Highly recommended!!!” – Chris R, Amazon ★★★★★ Terrific team-up! “A genuine page-turner with more twists and turns than a contortionist playing twister on the Hampton Court Palace Maze schematics after downing a dozen Red Bulls. Highly recommended!” – Laurence, Amazon ★★★★★ Excellent a book I couldn’t put down “I got this book yesterday, usually it takes me a while before reading a book but read this yesterday and loved it and I normally stay away from Shakespeare works but not this enjoyable and funny” – Debbie, Amazon
