Something Under the Bed Is Drooling: A Calvin and Hobbes Collection Volume 2

Monsters under the bed, mutant snowmen, and time-travel chaos–Calvin and Hobbes turn ordinary childhood into an extraordinary, heart-filled, philosophical adventure in Something Under the Bed Is Drooling.

In Something Under the Bed Is Drooling, Calvin and Hobbes take childhood imagination to new heights. Hobbes pounces, Susie schemes, and Calvin’s parents endure a nonstop parade of questions, pranks, and musings. Monsters lurk under the bed, snowmen march in grotesque armies, and the cardboard box becomes a springboard for time travel, space adventures, and endless imagination.

Featuring comics originally published in newspapers between August 1986 and May 1987, this volume builds on Bill Watterson’s signature blend of wit, heart, and insight, featuring a foreword by Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist Pat Oliphant.
