Dominion City, The Big D, Dark City – the capital of the Everlight Imperium goes by many names, but its nature remains the same: a sprawling metropolis where the corrupt rule, the Crime Houses spread their poison, and the downtrodden cry out for hope.

Michael Ryan was an orphan taken in by the most powerful House in the criminal underworld. Now, twelve years later, a reforming Michael stands ready to inherit power and steer the House towards legitimacy. That is until his psychopathic rival for the throne provokes a gang war and betrays Michael, leaving him for dead.

Michael awakens months later, his body restored but his spirit dejected, as he recognises a life wasted in service to crime. He is rescued by the Covenant, a secret society sworn to uphold justice and protect the innocent. Their greatest weapon is the Wraith, a highly skilled, high-tech warrior. Michael is recruited to become their newest champion and begin his path to redemption. However, as the threats to Dominion City multiply, the Wraith can no longer operate only in shadow. The time has come to unleash the storm…
