Talisman: Subterfuge

He walks the night as a vigilante bound by a cruel cosmic deal. Save one thousand lives, and his wife lives again. Fail, and someone else dies.

“One Away or One to Stay, and Balance Anew.” The Talisman has one mission. Save as many people as he can, and the beings promise they’ll bring his wife back from the dead. Fail, or renounce his charge, and someone else he loves dies. No pressure.

Five years after losing his wife, the man known only as The Talisman – once a war hero, now a haunted shadow – is bound to a cruel cosmic bargain with the enigmatic Aeterium Axis. Save one thousand lives, and the woman he loves will return. Fail, and another soul he cherishes will be taken forever.

Armed with supernatural abilities, he moves through the ruins, leaving only golden talismans as proof he was there. But a determined journalist is closing in on his secrets, and a vengeful former Talisman is hunting him across worlds. Every rescue carries a devastating cost. Every choice tips the balance between hope and oblivion.

Talisman: Subterfuge is a pulse-pounding dark fantasy of loss, loyalty, and the impossible price of second chances; where redemption may demand more than any man can pay.
