Super-soldiers. Living weapons. That’s what Allax Drake and Maika Laurens were meant to be.
Allax was trained his entire life for that purpose, first by his father, from whom he inherited his mutation, and then by the Peacekeeper-Director, who turned him into a tool of war.
Yet somehow, Maika’s general pissed-off attitude makes her even more terrifying.

When genius inventor Emíl Larsson sends a cryptic distress call to the Peacekeepers while working on cutting-edge military robots, Allax and Maika are thrust into a deadly mission deep in the snow-covered mountains. But what starts as a routine rescue spirals into chaos when a brutal blizzard scatters the team and a relentless enemy emerges from the storm. Cut off from their technology, Allax and Maika fight to keep each other and their complicated relationship alive as they navigate a web of secrets and betrayals. As time runs out, nothing is as it seems.
