Love made him a scientist. Rage made him a monster. And someone really should’ve double-checked that formula.

Henry “Hank” Howard had a plan: finish his groundbreaking serum, impress his demanding future father-in-law, and propose to the love of his life. But when a late-night mugging leaves him rattled – and the experiment finally turns purple – Hank makes a desperate choice that changes everything.

Now, when he loses his temper, Hank transforms into something else: huge, unstoppable… and bright purple.

As the military tightens its grip, and madman Dr. Kantlove unleashes missile-fueled chaos from a desert stronghold, Hank becomes the center of a global crisis – caught between his monstrous alter ego, a government with no loyalty, and a romance that might not survive the fallout.

A darkly comedic take on superhero tropes and monster movies, The Amazing Bulk blends tragic escalation with cartoon logic, B-movie bravado, and just enough heart to break a little. Adapted from the infamous cult film by Lewis Schoenbrun, this novelization turns absurdity into epic – one purple rampage at a time.
