The Cane – Book 2 – The Summoning

The chilling sequel to The Cane delves deeper into the haunting legacy of the Von Slaught family. Elias, driven by the desperate need to rescue his parents from an ancient curse, ventures into a darker and more perilous world. Bound by the remnants of a centuries-old pact, he faces horrors beyond imagination, where the only way forward is to summon the very forces threatening to destroy him.

Joined by Teresa, whose supernatural heritage holds unforeseen power, and the enigmatic Uncle Drago, Elias embarks on a harrowing journey across Europe. Their mission is clear: uncover and assemble a powerful relic scattered across cryptic histories tied to the Ravenwood and Boix families. Each fragment brings them closer to breaking the curse, but also awakens malevolent forces intent on their destruction.

From cursed forests to forgotten catacombs and ancient ruins, danger lurks at every turn. Teresa grapples with the dark potential of her aswang curse, which may hold the key to forbidden magic but at an unimaginable cost. Uncle Drago’s shadowy past resurfaces, revealing his own connection to the curse. Meanwhile, Elias faces grim truths about his family’s legacy, testing his resolve and courage.

The climactic ritual unfolds in an abandoned monastery shrouded in shadow, where they must summon the source of the curse-a forgotten deity of betrayal and vengeance. As the deity awakens, Elias must choose: destroy the relic and sacrifice his parents, or use its power and risk eternal damnation.

The Cane 2: The Summoning delivers relentless tension, shocking revelations, and a chilling blend of horror and dark fantasy that will leave readers breathless and eager for the next chapter.
