The Catholic Treasure Chest Comic Book Treasury of Saints – Ordinary Time Comics

This volume of selections from Catholic publisher George Pflaum’s Treasure Chest of Fun & Fact comic book series collects stories of Catholic saints whose feast days fall outside of specific liturgical seasons (such as Lent and Advent) but instead during the months of Ordinary Time.

A number of beloved saints and Holy Days are brought to life in these pages, whether they invoke nostalgia in readers from years past, or delight younger readers of today.

Distributed to Catholic schools from the 1940s into the 1970s, these stories, in some cases illustrated by future artists of note in the pantheon of comic book history, provided generations of children a colorful means of engaging their faith, and provide historical, nostalgic, and educational opportunities today for readers of all ages.
