The Empire of Marijuana

In a near-future America, a sudden nationwide legalization of marijuana triggers a terrifying transformation. Behind the new law is Greenarith Labs, a powerful corporation using a hidden biochemical formula to turn citizens obedient, passive, and easily controlled.

Future, a young man studying abroad in Germany, watches helplessly as his friends disappear, social media accounts vanish, news becomes restricted, and even his mother stops answering. The last message he receives from the girl he loves – Amelia – is a whisper: “Don’t come back.”

Unable to stay away, Future illegally returns to a completely changed New York City – now ruled by Greenarith’s private army, the GreenGuard, and its cold, brilliant leader Kalden. The streets are controlled, people walk like synchronized followers, and fear hides behind every quiet smile.

Future reunites with Amelia, now a hardened fighter working with an underground resistance. Together they uncover the truth: Amelia once worked inside Greenarith and unknowingly helped build the very system now enslaving millions.

As the city tightens under Kalden’s rule, the resistance plans to expose the empire and free the people before everyone is permanently controlled. When Future is captured and Amelia is taken, their fight becomes a race against time – a battle of love, survival, and the desperate hope to reclaim a world on the edge of obedience.
