Young Thomas, a brave Templar knight, rides across the scorching desert, dreaming of home.

But when a fierce battle leaves him captured by a mysterious Saracen warrior, his fate takes an unexpected turn. Taken to a grand city, Thomas meets Idris, a wise scholar who offers him knowledge instead of chains. At first, Thomas resists-his whole life has been about war. But as he learns to read, studies the stars, and tastes new foods, he begins to question everything he once believed. Is strength only found in battle, or is there power in wisdom?

As Thomas’s mind opens to a new world, he must decide: will he remain a prisoner, or will he embrace a different kind of freedom?
