Vanishing Point

Award-winning writer Mark Russell (Batman: Dark Age, Superman: Space Age, Exit, Stage Left!: The Snagglepuss Chronicles) and some of the comics industry’s most talented artists deliver a universe full of shocking sci-fi horror tales in this new anthology series!

The brainchild of critically-acclaimed writer Mark Russell, VANISHING POINT is an anthology of short stories that are part science fiction and part existential horror. These are stories with a twist in which the twist is not the point of the story, but a beginning point from which to ask what it means to be alive. Russell is joined by artists Ryan Alexander-Tanner, Juan Doe, and Alberto Ponticelli on six terrifying tales that will leave readers mystified.

In Screams, a seasoned mining ship captain embarks on a ten-year solo mission to space where he makes a horrifying discovery. The Tomorrow Family is a dark reimagining of the cartoon family of tomorrow, living in a future that might have been. In Cell Structure, a floating research station performs horrifying experiments on alien prisoners to discover the common elements all living things. In Proof of Life, a robot is put on trial for the ultimate offense of being alive. In Deathwatch, a futuristic health clinic keeps patients alive against their will. But why? And in The Mission, a genocidal visitor arrives on Earth with a mission of mass extermination and a secret that could change everything.

This volume collects all six issues of the critically-acclaimed series.
