Description

What do we talk about when we talk about artificial intelligence? Is it beings that are smarter than humans? Wiser, or more ethical? Would we be able to coexist with them and get past our presumption of superiority? Yo, Robot is three short stories based on the stories of Isaac Asimov and on his well-known laws of robotics: a robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm; a robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law; and a robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Laws.

De qu� hablamos cuando hablamos de inteligencia artificial? De seres m�s inteligentes que los humanos? M�s sabios? M�s �ticos? Ser�amos capaces de convivir con ellos y superar nuestra presunci�n de superioridad? Yo, Robot son tres historias cortas basadas en los relatos de Isaac Asimov y en sus conocidas leyes de la rob�tica: 1. Un robot no debe da�ar a un ser humano o, por su inacci�n, dejar que un ser humano sufra da�o. 2. Un robot debe obedecer las �rdenes que le son dadas por un ser humano, excepto cuando estas �rdenes entren en conflicto con las primera ley. 3. Un robot debe proteger su propia existencia hasta que esta protecci�n entre en conflicto con la ley primera o segunda.
