I really enjoyed this movie but I thought it was a matter of too much good stuff packed into one film. I know what they say, "you can’t have too much of a good thing." But the Venom stuff on top of the Harry stuff on top of the Sandman stuff was just too much. I heard a story about how the Venom storyline was added later, to bring in more fans, and I can believe that. Moreover, each of these villains were intriguing and very well-played by the actors. I wanted more room for them to develop. I also wish playing Venom wouldn’t keep Topher Grace out of the running to play Peter Parker after Maguire leaves because he’s *that* good. Oh yeah, and that butler thing where he comes in and explains Norman’s death at the last minute was pretty improbable; but so is a giant man made out of sand, so I’ll let it slide.

I was hoping for Iceman and Firestar to show up.
