Hi Simon
How are things. I have been trying to catch up with you for years now. My Brother Andrew helped me find you on the Internet. I have been painting for years now and funnily enough my work has endid up looking exactly the same. Its very hard to concentrate on detail isnt it. I have been using car spray paint, white cans and putting masking tape and card across patches of board holding it down and spraing this paint to create side angle light effects. I have also got an air brush and i find that very, difficult to clean. I just cant work out how to fit a bottle underneath and get the paint to flow. It just doesnt seem to suck up the paint and blow it in an even gentle spray. I dip the end of the airbrush into white paint and then spray paint. I made a poster and sent it to a woen and her son for a christmas present. I worked very hard on this with a guy from sunflower graphics i think him and me have got a hell of a ringer of a headache or should i say you and me. Tommorow or this week i will send you samples of my work. Maybe we can work one ideas and both chill at home with coffee and tea instead of getting wrapped around lamp posts. Im trying to stop drinking i still smoke though i like the embasy cigarettes they are the only wons that have any flavour and i realy prfer to stay at home and be in my own world like you.
Anyway have a very nice week or weekend i dont know its sunday today and im seeing my brother and his son George off to iceland. His son is a great fan of us. I sat down with him at the dinner table yesterday and taught him a bit about about painting, I use very fine brushes and i dont like using large brushes too much. I just tarte up peices of card and paste larger areas of colour lets say white and yellow acrylic, red, green , turqouise blue, and i also use a fine black pen on board. lets keep in touch i will tell you about a comic story called underworld, with other patches in it called night lore and i have painted 2 colour boards. My phone number is 01932228952 i think we should talk. Goodluck. By for now Duncan and all the best.
