I dug it… it definitely had its issues, but I enjoyed it a hell of a lot more than X3!
Dreadful. A perfect storm of godawful writing, acting and directing. It was like Ghost Rider, Punisher, and The Spirit had a baby and it lived. You'd think after three tries they'd have learned how NOT to make an X-Men movie. Thankfully Liev Schreiber is talented enough to survive his association with this regrettable undertaking.
Why are Ma & Pa Kent in this film?
Why is anyone in this film? And did you notice they're billed as James and Heather Hudson?Claremont's opinion aside, I would concede the only silver lining in this cloud would be if some of Wolverine's neglected co-creators were seeing a few dollars from it.
For what it's worth, Chris Claremont liked it. And considering he thought that Wolverine should never have his origin revealed, that's saying a lot.
