It'z 'bout time, my wife has been reading these novels,& would tell me about it, it got to be where I'd bee asking her "What' happening now?". So I started reading them. It's well written, and seems as real as you could get, If they did live (vampires/werewolfs) Not the "OH NO!! THE SUN! I'M BURNING!" OR "STAKE THRU THE HEART , FULL MOON, SILVER BULLET CLICHE". Great story/character development. I'm a BIG COMIC FAN, & I always said "It's BOUND to be a comic", there are so many side stories for all the characters, (except for Bella..in my opinion, not my wife's.) Now she can read some of My Books/ Graphic Novels. My guy friends , make fun of me for reading "girl" book, love stories, (THAT'S OKAY, I'M SECURE W/MY MANHOOD", BUT BET, THEY'LL SNEAK A PEAK AT THIS COMIC!!) I hope it's written as well as the books! DELTA OUT!!
I KNEW IT!! My wife started reading these novels, and she would tell me about it every morning.Well, when she didnt, I'd ask her "WHAT'S GOING ON W/BELLA?". I became so interested, that I began to read the stories. And the story is GREAT! S.Meyer writes most excellent, she paints the pictures in your head, developes the characters so well, you actually believe for a moment that they(VAMPIRES/WEREWOLVES) exist! It's not that cliche, hollywood "OH NO THE SUN! NOT THE WOODEN STEAK & GARLIC!" or "THE MOON…IT'S FULL, GRAB A SILVER BULLET!" stuff. And there is so many details w/ character's that comics would do a great job explaining. I LOVE ME SOME COMICS! So now my wife can appreciate them soon as well!! AND YEAH, OF COURSE MY "MANLY" FRIENDS TEASED ME (even at 34 yrs. old) ABOUT READING A "GIRLS #%!* LOVE STORY", BUT I'M SECURE W/ MY MANHOOD..& THERE IS A REASON IT'S POPULAR…CUZ IT'S GOOD! PLUS, I GOT A WIFE, MAYBE IF THEY READ IT (plus some comics, of course) they could actually have something to talk about with women :)
Truly sorry to say… "Vampires" that SPARKLE like DIAMONDS in sunlight? Epic friggin' fail. They should rename the series "The (not so) Teenaged Adventures of Draculight".
