I love March, particularly the way the winds blow in such promise for the year to come. Spring training, buds on the trees, the hope that we can avoid any more snowstorms, it’s all fraught with positivity. Even our weekly ComicMix columnists seem to be more enthusiastic than usual (particularly Michael Davis with his Obama-at-SDCC…
I know ComicMixers Martha and Glenn might disagree, but in my opinion knitted Daleks have nothing on chocolate ones! Via BoingBoing, here’s how to make a chocolate Dalek. Decadent and tasty! I will be assimilated, gladly! Meanwhile, Series 3 of the new Doctor Who programme is said to begin on the Beeb on March 31,…
Warner Animation’s just-released Batman and Harley Quinn is an interesting project from the standpoint of it being a more mature sequel to the Batman: The Animated Series while still fitting into the now cohesive DC Animated Universe. Neil Gaiman wrote on his journal at http://journal.neilgaiman.com/2009/07/doing-gloom…the following "Right now I'm not entirely sure what's going to happen, and Mark Buckingham and I haven't signed anything, but I'm really hopeful that Marvel will bring Alan Moore's stories back into print, and the work I did with Mark Buckingham (Miracleman 25 was finished, ready for printing, 16 years ago. It's still in Mark Buckingham's possession, although some of the lettering balloons have gone a bit yellow.) I'm not entirely sure what Marvel's plans are for the character at this point — obviously I'd like to finish the story I started."
Wasn't this the guy who yelled "Split" and broke into dozens of body parts?
