The Point Radio Hey, it's Mike Raub. Alright, there's been some big events take place on the CBS series Person of Interest. And we talked to the cast about the reactions both on and off camera. Plus The Walking Dead kills it in the ratings and Robert Downey at Crockle.

Let's get to The Point. This is The Point. The Point Radio. Get The Point Radio. Alright, fair warning.

Spoiler alert. There have been some big events take place over the past few weeks on the CBS series Person of Interest including the death of Carter, played by actress Teri Janssen who told me her character definitely went out as one of the good guys. At the end of the day Carter's trying to do the right thing.

She's good to the core. She's a cop. She can't help herself. Whether she's in the uniform or not. HR did some crazy stuff to her.

You know, kill people that she care about and threatening to do some ugly things to the city and innocent people and through her relationship with Reese and him teaching her both Finch and Reese, teaching her sometimes you gotta bend the rules a little bit to save a person. And at the end of the day a saved life is a saved life and that's what she's all about.

Kevin Chapman's character Fusco has been left to deal with the laws. Right now when Fusco walks to let Reese in, she's not there. It's kind of a lonely place for him because I think all the characters in the series all have trust issues and I think that at the end of season two that Carter and Fusco really kind of broke new ground in the topic specifically of trust.

So I think that is really probably the biggest thing is that he wants to partner back and they want things to kind of be back. Fusco's been given the opportunity to redeem himself to the place of that once heroic image of himself that he once had that probably forced him or generated interest when he become a police officer.

So I think that as you were saying he never escaped the past but I think Fusco feels pretty good about himself. I think his darker years were just him trying to fit in. The series Big Bad is surprisingly played by actress Amy Acker who talked to me about her character has evolved a lot over the last few episodes.

Well now I have, I mean up until the point of being locked away I was frantically trying to get the machine or to make contact with the machine and once I got in there and she called me now it's kind of like I'm a piece and I have a sense of knowing what I need to do and I have her help doing everything. All in all Amy's having a great time.

It's fun because the characters all interact with each other in such different ways so it really, you never feel like you're playing the same scene which I guess you wouldn't but it's really, in this show in particular everyone has such unique relationships and the way they write those relationships. It's a lot of fun.

Amy's co-star Sarah Shahi agrees. It's great, I mean I feel like it's the A game of actors and they're such fantastic actors and every time I'm working with them I learn something, I pick something up and they're incredibly sweet and wonderful and very giving and they're amazing to work with. This year Sarah was elevated to series regular and she told me she's invested no small amount

of time trying to build a backstory for her character. I tried to develop a lot of it because you're not really told very much about your character and even when I got this role it was Jonah and Greg never really gave me a history of her and I remember I sent Jonah this email that was probably about two pages long and it was her history that I had read, this is what she does, this is how she gets around

town, this is the languages she speaks, this is where she comes from, this is her mom, her dad and he was like yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, okay. He's like these are all great but you'll learn about her as we progress throughout the season. So yeah, you're not told very much and for that fact I just kind of made up my own thing with her and as the season progresses I learned that I'm wrong but hopefully whatever it was

that I came up with it you know has worked so far again. Let's get back into it, here's the latest in pop culture. No real shock that the numbers were huge for the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead,

topped last year's finale by 1.6 million viewers giving it 7.7 million eyeballs in the coveted 18-49 demo. It made it the top show in the demo on all of television in the highest rated season on cable as well. The series is taking a break, we'll return with the second half of season four on AMC

on February 9th. Here's a set a statue might not think about, how many people Shazam and what do they use the app for? Well the app has announced their Sounds of 2014 list and it's interesting with titles like the Top Shazam'd Song of the Year which happens to be Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines,

followed by Lord's Royal, the Top Shazam'd Artist or Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and Rhiannon coming in at number two. The most Shazam'd TV shows and tracks are Girls, people looking for the iconic pop song I Love It There, and the most popular Shazam'd TV shows overall, Grey's Anatomy, Saturday Night Live and of course the Grammy Awards.

Well the holiday sale season started out just a little slow this year with Black Friday sales being down about 3%. Looks like Amazon may have an answer to future sales that might boost things. CEO President Jeff Bezos revealed on a 60 Minutes episode a few days ago a new delivery service by Drone.

The Prime Air service would be for packages up to around 5 pounds which is pretty much the bulk of what Amazon ships and would be effective for areas about 10 miles within a distribution center. The service would allow Amazon to deliver your package to you within a half hour after you ordered it.

Of course there's some FAA bumps to get over and they're working on that as well so don't look for the service to be in play until at least 2015. Once the next Sin City movie finally gets into theaters the next step could be for a television show. That's according to a comment made by Harvey Weinstein in a New York Times interview.

He said he hopes his company can capitalize on the release of the second movie with a TV adaptation that may also involve creator Frank Miller and director Robert Rodriguez. The next Sin City film is set to be in theaters in August of 2014. Robert Downey's production company Team Downey and Sony Crackle are teaming up for a new documentary series called Playing It Forward.

It showcases spontaneous street music performances for major artists with all proceeds going to the charity of the artist's choice. The first one featured John Legend and there will be more to follow and you can see them all at crackle.com. The new BBC America series Atlantis has now been given a second season even though only

the first couple of episodes from the first season have aired so far. There's also good news that Sherlock is returning to BBC One with a new episode in January of 2014. Universal Studios has told The Hollywood Reporter they are not abandoning the Fast and Furious franchise or the production of the seventh movie in that series despite the recent death

of actor Paul Walker. No word yet on exactly how all that will come about but a spokesman did say it would be dealt with in a respectful and tasteful manner. Fast and Furious 7 was said to be released on July 11th of next year. More than likely that will change within at least a few months with plans being announced

in a few weeks by Universal. Alright so we know you were recovering from your Thanksgiving grocery bill and then putting that money aside for Christmas gifts because that's coming up soon. So this week in the comic store you're going to get out spending less than five dollars on any particular item we have here and a couple are even a dollar each.

So here you go with a list of the things we think you should check out. For the Redfros there's a new Terminator series from Dark Horse called Terminator Salvation Final Battle. First issue with that out. DC Comics Essentials gives us the first issue of Watchmen for a dollar.

That's an interesting read. Carbon Grey is back with a new volume of that and a new run. It's volume three number one with a couple of different covers there. And if you're missing Mark Millar's Jupiter's Legacy you realize there won't be a new issue of that until after the new year.

For the tide show where there's Jupiter's Legacy the Studio Edition with beautiful renditions of Frank Whiteley's artwork and Mark's original script as well. Big news comes from Marvel it's amazing Spider-Man number 700.1 and they tell us Peter Parker's coming back. And fingers crossed on that one also from Marvel a new issue of Painkiller Jane Price

of Freedom. Second one of that from Jimmy Palmieri. Christo's Gauge's Absolution returns with a new Happy Kitty special this week. And from Boom Hit List the third issue is out with no less than four different covers of that.

It's the third issue you can grab the first two easily if you want to catch up. These are just some of the things waiting for you inexpensively inside a comic shop this week.
