Predator Hunts on Planet of the Apes

New York, NY— April 23, 2026 — Evolution created them. Now the hunt will test them.

This July, the galaxy’s greatest hunter finds new prey on a world ruled by apes in PREDATOR VS. THE PLANET OF THE APES, a five-issue Marvel Comics series written by Greg Pak (Planet Hulk) and drawn by Alan Robinson (X-Men Infinity Comic). Made in collaboration with 20th Century Studios, the series marks the first-ever crossover between the two groundbreaking sci-fi franchises and is the latest in Marvel’s acclaimed line of 20th Century Studios storytelling, including recent hits like Planet of the Apes Vs. Fantastic Four and Predator: Bloodshed. Blending the mythologies and themes of both universes, the revolutionary saga pushes both Yautja and apes to their limits in a brutal battle for dominance!

Worlds collide when a deadly Yautja crash-lands on the legendary Planet of the Apes!

After a rescue mission gone wrong, astronaut Arch finds herself embedded in a hostile ape society where humans are subservient. But the hunters soon became the hunted when the apes find themselves being stalked by Predators! A three-way war is about to erupt between humans, apes and Yautja – who will reign supreme?!

On his love for both franchises, Pak shared, “I vividly remember watching the first Planet of the Apes movie on an old 13″ black-and-white television in the early 1980s and having my mind TOTALLY BLOWN.” So I was thrilled when Marvel approached me to write Planet of the Apes comics — and then even MORE thrilled when they said it would be a Predator book as well!”

Planet of the Apes and Predator are two of the most iconic sci-fi series of all time—I’d be thrilled to work on EITHER of them. But both of them together? Just incredible,” he continued. “Both series do so much wild worldbuilding, grapple with a deeply organic and compelling kind of sci-fi, and take on massive and eternally relevant themes of violence and war. Both also absolutely GO THERE, taking huge risks and leaps all the time. I can’t wait to show what we’re cooking up with Alan Robinson and the rest of the creative team. “

Fantastic Four 65th Anniversary Plans Announced

New York, NY— April 22, 2026 — Safety is not guaranteed as writer Ryan North and Humberto Ramos celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Fantastic Four’s debut in 1961’s FANTASTIC FOUR #1 with an oversized issue #15 that takes readers and the team on a thrilling adventure back and forth through time. The quartet (and Johnny’s facial hair) will be pushed to their limits as they spiral across eras of their own history with no hope of returning home unless a total stranger can help them return to the present, where a deadly threat awaits them.

The Fantastic Four first appeared in the pages of FANTASTIC FOUR (1961) #1 by co-creators Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, which provided the launching pad for the modern Marvel Universe. Over the next 65 years, hundreds of talented creators would take the reins of the World’s Greatest Comics Magazine, with North and Ramos being the latest pair to showcase the team’s indomitable bond and adventurous spirit against threats including Emperor Doom, The Invincible Woman, and more.

“Fantastic Four is a comic that matters like few others in the medium, so it’s been a real honor to get to write both our 700th issue, and now this, our 65th anniversary special,” explains writer Ryan North. “For this oversized issue, we tell a story that runs across time – in two directions at once – while also getting to see the true effect the Fantastic Four have had on their world, and each other.  It’s got sci-fi, it’s got relationships, it’s got thrills and chills and fun and adventure and… wait, it says here it’s also got a major turning point in Johnny’s mustache?  That can’t be right, can it??”

“To commemorate the Fantastic Four’s 65th year of publication, Ryan North and Humberto Ramos are taking the team back in time—both figuratively and literally!” adds executive editor Tom Brevoort. “And because this is an anniversary issue, the story will also incorporate some classic moments by key FF creators of the past, including Jack Kirby, John Buscema, John Byrne and Steve Epting—all seen with a new wrinkle added. It’s the sort of mind-bending adventure that fans have come to expect from this award-winning creative team, and the sort of story that will help keep the series exciting and innovative for decades to come.”

It’s the 65th anniversary of The Fantastic Four, and to celebrate, we’ve got an extra-large, extra-fantastic adventure for you starring everyone’s favorite adventurers, spanning centuries of history and a universe of scientific progress! The Fantastic Four have been defeated: with their personal arrows of time reversed, they’re careening into the past with no hope of salvation – unless a complete stranger can find out what they need. But even if she does, that will only get them halfway home, because there’s still a threat in the present that’s waiting to kill them – and that’s IF they can arrive there alive! This is one issue you won’t want to miss – because you’ll have to wait 65 years for ANYTHING like it. PLUS: Johnny’s mustache saves New York City?!

Mile Morales Returns to Earth-616 and gets New Creative Team

New York, NY— April 20, 2026 — With a target on the back of Spider-Man and the entire Morales family, Miles Morales will need to dig deeper than ever before to protect his neighborhood and those he loves as the superstar team of writer Bryan Edward Hill (Ultimate Black Panther) and artist Nico Leon (Psylocke) kick off a new era in August’s MILES MORALES: SPIDER-MAN #1.

Upon returning to Brooklyn after a chaotic trip to the Ultimate Universe, Miles is inundated with the trials and tribulations of the teenage superhero struggle – fighting through supervillains (and homework) and still finding time for date night or dinner with the folks. So, it’s a bit of an unwelcome surprise when a dangerous secret from his father’s S.H.I.E.L.D. past returns with a vengeance and threatens the lives of everyone he holds dear.

“I was really humbled when Marvel contacted me because Miles Morales is such an important character to people,” said writer Bryan Edward Hill. “No one knows, but I’m a HUGE Spider-Man and Spider-Verse fan, so I’m going all out here with new villains, new allies, thrilling action, and a real exploration of that essential struggle of being a hero and maintaining a life connected to others.”

“Sara Pichelli opened the door to a new generation of comic book artists with ULTIMATE COMICS SPIDER-MAN, and being able to step into that lineage now is a real privilege,” explains artist Nico Leon. “Drawing Miles Morales in his classic suit, a design that turned iconic from the first second, is an opportunity you can bet I will not take lightly.”

“Bryan Hill redefined what a Black Panther book could be for ULTIMATE BLACK PANTHER, and he’s raising the bar even higher with MILES MORALES: SPIDER-MAN,” adds series editor Tom Groneman. “He and the incomparable Nico Leon are a dynamic duo of Spider-Storytelling greatness! Their passion for Miles shines through in every line of dialogue and every single brush stroke. This new story is truly special, and I can’t wait for fans to have the first issue in their hands!”

THE NEXT ERA OF MILES MORALES: SPIDER-MAN STARTS NOW!

MILES MORALES is back in black (and red)! SPIDER-MAN thinks he has it allllll handled: homework, super-villains…a new school crush?? No, no—Miles’ is focused on what matters: helping the good folks of Brooklyn. Friendly. Neighborhood. Spider-Manning at his best! But a vengeful villain from Jeff Morales’ past with SHIELD threatens to destroy not only Spider-Man, but the entire Morales family!

Dan Panosian Visits Ralph Bakshi’s Fire & Ice with Darkwolf

April 16, Mt. Laurel, NJ: The brutal sword and sorcery mythos of Fire and Ice brings even more exciting comics action this summer with a brand-new series turning the spotlight to the fierce and mysterious Darkwolf, with creators Dan Panosian and Andrey Lunatik at the helm!

Born from the immortal imagination of master fantasy illustrator and painter Frank Frazetta and genius animation innovator Ralph Bakshi, the character of Darkwolf is one of the most memorable and signature parts of their historic team-up for Fire and Ice. The muscled warrior hides his true identity behind an iconic mask. Eventually, in the thick of the film’s plot, he crosses paths with Larn and Teegra, and fells Nekron by his own hands.

In this new series by Dan “Urban Barbarian” Panosian, readers will get to know — but not too much — the legendary Darkwolf before those events. It all begins when a mother and her twins flee the warlock who sired them. His lackeys are sent out to pursue them, at least until a fabled warrior descends from the mountains to unleash hell upon them. But saving them is only the beginning.

“Darkwolf is pure Frank Frazetta in its most raw and unfiltered form,” said writer Dan Panosian. “Wild, savage, and let loose upon a world as terrifying as he is!”

Panosian is joined by artist Andrey Lunatik, making his mainstream debut here. He brings his energetic ink-slinging style that perfectly matches the pulse-pounding adventures and combat of Darkwolf.

The legend of Darkwolf begins here. It’s violent, mythic, and unrelenting. This is a fierce, visceral rebirth of a true barbarian force of nature. Readers will not want to miss this exhilarating epic!

With a lineage including Frazetta and Bakshi, every Fire and Ice comic has a tall task to live up to, with not only the interior art but also covers. Darkwolf is displayed in all his ferocious glory by Panosian himself, as well as Stjepan Šejić, Joe Jusko, Stuart Sayger, and Cary Nord. Both Jusko and Nord are legends within barbarian comics, and are complemented with more perfect fits for the genre.

Fire and Ice: Darkwolf adds to the growing lore for the franchise, with a flagship prequel comic, and specials focused on Teegra and Nekron to date, from creators including Bill Willingham, Leonardo Manco, Gabriele di Caro,
Geof Isherwood, and Frank Frazetta’s granddaughter Sara!

Kelly Thompson & Stephen Byrne Move to Sunnydale for new Buffy Series

Eisner Award-winning writer Kelly Thompson continues a scorching hot run of Absolute Wonder Woman, Birds of Prey, Captain Marvel, Black Widow, and more by taking on a franchise she has cherished for years. She will not only be writing the new Buffy the Vampire Slayer series, but a companion Angel title, with further details on the latter to come.

“Buffy Summers is, in my opinion, one of the best modern heroes of science fiction/fantasy,” said Thompson. “The show was wildly inspirational for a young Kelly, and like so many things that feel very lucky in my life, I’m not sure I’m a writer today without encountering Buffy at the right moment. This idea for Buffy has been sitting with me for a long time – and so when the chance to grab both Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel came along, I couldn’t resist trying it. I hope you guys will enjoy the ride — it comes from a place of deep love for the franchise – and I’ll try my best to be worthy of it.”

Artist Stephen Byrne has delighted readers with his inimitable style in titles including Justice League/Power Rangers, Wonder Twins, Green Arrow, and Mera: Tidebreaker. Another longtime Buffy fan can check out his character designs and an early sneak peek at the book.

Byrne added, “I’ve been a lifelong Buffyverse obsessive, and I’ve got the VHS boxsets and DVDs to prove it. Working on this comic with such a phenomenal writer is a surreal dream come true, and I still can’t quite believe it. I can’t wait for fans to see what Kelly has planned.”

The powerhouse duo are joined on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series by Eisner-nominated colorist Lee Loughridge and letterer Jeff Eckleberry. Steering the ship is editor and packager Nate Cosby, one of the primary guides behind other chart-toppers like Gargoyles, Darkwing Duck, ThunderCats, and more.

To mark this momentous occasion for Scoobies all over, Nate Cosby has assembled a gang of top-tier cover artists to present gorgeous visions of everyone’s favorite slayers. David Nakayama, Amanda Conner, Joshua “Sway” Swaby, and Juliet Nneka are among the first wave. Additionally, Dynamite is remastering the first-ever Buffy comic cover from 1998 by the legendary Arthur Adams.

Buffy collectors can also opt for a mystery blind bag, featuring three premium variant covers for the book selected randomly from a range of logo-less editions, line art presentations of art, and wholly original artwork exclusive to this offering, including covers by Byrne, Declan Shalvey, and more iconic covers by the likes of J. Scott Campbell.

Continuity Implant Finds Punisher & Spider-Man Working Together

New York, NY— April 17, 2026 — This summer, Peter Parker and Frank Castle take a walk down memory lane in PUNISHER VS. SPIDER-MAN, an all-new five-issue limited series detailing some of the duo’s earliest encounters in the Marvel Universe.

Taking place shortly after Punisher’s debut dust-up with Spider-Man in the pages of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #129, writer Dan Abnett (IMPERIAL GUARDIANS) and artist Matteo Della Fonte (NOVA: CENTURION) force Peter Parker and Frank Castle to set aside their differences for the greater good… until they inevitably turn on one another once again.

“I’m very happy to be writing these two characters in a head-to-head together, and to be revisiting the Punisher, a character I haven’t written since YEAR ONE in the nineties,” explains Abnett. “The series is a whole lot of fun and full of big action, and some genuine surprises as they learn stuff about each other for the first time. That’s the real joy of going back to this pivotal early point in continuity: there’s a freshness in their encounters and interactions that I think readers are really going to get a kick out of.”

THE PUNISHER AND SPIDER-MAN, two of the most notorious names in New York City, with very different approaches to making the Big Apple safer (or not, depending on who you ask!). Brought together by happenstance and forced to stay that way by an ally from Frank Castle’s past in need, will the web-slinger and the gunslinger be able to begrudgingly set aside their differences before they find themselves at one another’s throats?!
