New York, NY— August 19, 2024 — Marvel Comics’ annual celebration of Native American Heritage Month will be extra special this year with KAHHORI: RESHAPER OF WORLDS #1. This new one-shot will introduce KAHHORI, the breakout hero from the second season of Marvel Animation’s anthology Disney+ series What If…?.

This new installment in the Marvel’s Voices line will be written and drawn by an array of exciting talent, including Kahhori’s co-creator and What If…? writer Ryan Little. The character’s debut adventures will also be written by Indigenous creators Arihhonni “Honni” David and Kelly Lynne D’Angelo in their Marvel Comics debuts and feature art by acclaimed Marvel artists David Cutler, Jim Terry, and more! 

The Mohawk warrior Kahhori fell into Sky World and our hearts from her first appearance fighting invaders to her home. Burbank, Calif., August 15, 2024—To celebrate the 40^th anniversary of the supernatural slasher film A Nightmare on Elm Street from New Line Cinema and renowned horror director Wes Craven, the 1984 film will be available for purchase Digitally in 4K Ultra HD on October 1 and on 4K UHD Blu-ray Disc on October 15.

A Nightmare on Elm Street, which spawned a franchise and introduced audiences to iconic horror villain Freddy Krueger, will be available to purchase on Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc online and in-store at major retailers and available for purchase Digitally from Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Google Play, Fandango at Home and more.

The 4K UHD remaster of A Nightmare on Elm Street includes both the 1984 theatrical version and an uncut version that includes eight seconds of additional unrated footage.

Wes Craven (Scream) directed the film from his own screenplay. It stars John Saxon, Ronee Blakely, Heather Langenkamp, Amanda Wyss, Nick Corri, Johnny Depp, and Robert Englund and is produced by Robert Shaye.

Following HELLVERINE’s debut in last year’s Ghost Rider/Wolverine: Weapons of Vengeance crossover, hellfire was passed from father to son as Logan’s son Akhiro, formerly known as Daken, took over the mantle in a 4-issue HELLVERINE limited series. That saga concluded today, and now, Percy will take this hellish journey to even darker depths as Akihiro embraces his transformation and dives claws first into Marvel’s superheroic landscape, as well as its demonic underworld.

American Hero Press is launching a new series of curated, themed collector books. The Frazetta Gallery Series features Frazetta masterpieces in frameable gallery format. These books are officially licensed productions from the Frank Frazetta Estate and the Frazetta Art Museum in East Stroudsburg, PA. Each book will be designed and printed to the highest available quality from first-generation files.

The first four individually released volumes in the series will feature the themes of Terror, Adventure, Warriors, and Sirens.

• The Terror volume includes Creepy and Eerie magazine paintings, paperback and hardcover paintings showing your favorite nightmares!
• The Adventure volume will present a gallery of some of the finest interpretations of Edgar Rice Burroughs’s classic adventures.
• Warriors immerse you in classic Sword & Sorcery, Heroic, and Otherworldly epic imagery.
•  Sirens presents a collection of Frazetta’s finest good-girl and bad-girl pin-up art.

The books’ specifications are an overall size of 11″ x 15″. They are produced in softcover, hardcover, and limited, slipcased hardcover editions.

The four books of the Frazetta Gallery Series will be individually issued through 2025. The approximate publication schedule is for the Terror book to ship in the Fall of 2024, the Adventure book in the Spring of 2025, Warriors in the Summer of 2025, and the Sirens book in the Fall of 2025. The Kickstarter for the Frazetta Gallery Series – Terror will launch this month.
