You’ve made your nominations of your favorite NSFW Webcomics, and now it’s time to vote. The highest vote getters make it into the tournament, with the biggest getting top seeds. In addition, if you think there are some we’ve missed, nominate them in the comments below. The voting ends Monday at 11:59 PM, and brackets go up on Tuesday! Let’s get it on!

Remember: these comics are considered Not Safe For Work. Take care when you follow the links to the comics. We take no responsibility if you are offended, scandalized, shocked, or disgusted.

UPDATE 3:30 AM, 4/29: Well I did say that if we missed some you should tell us, and lo and behold, we got additional candidates The Demonic Adventures of Angel Witch Pita, The Less Than Epic Adventures of TJ and Amal, Artifice, Chester 5000 XYV, and Gregor Comics. Better late than never, but make sure you vote to try and let them catch up.

UPDATE 12:30 PM, 4/30: Sigh. Even more good ones… we’re adding After the Dream, Flipside, Fluffy Bunny Domination, Frankenstein Superstar, Leth Hate, SS Myra, and (of course) NSFW Comix. And to be a little fair to the latecomers, we’re extending voting until 3 AM Eastern time.

Elite Eight of Mix March Madness 2012 Webcomics Tournament–Vote Now!

Round 5… and we’re down to the Elite 8!

Even heavier voting this time around, with the highest contestants getting nearly 12,000 votes. Voting has gotten so passionate that some folks are resorting to YouTube videos to spread the word.

In upset news, last year’s winner Erfworld got knocked out in Round 4, along with two contenders from Blind Ferret Entertainment. And with this being the deciding round to see who wins the $50 gift card from Amazon for picking the Final Four, we expect even more passionate arguing this time around.

Round 5 starts right now, and ends this Saturday night, March 31, at 11:59 PM, Eastern Daylight Time. We’re down to four contests, and none of them get easier… we hear the howls of agony in the comments threads over who to choose starting already. Go vote!

128 webcomics are down to 64, and the battles continue!

The last round of voting was much more than we anticipated, with almost each of the contests getting more votes than last year’s final round. The server started to have problems, compounded with what we think might have been bot attacks to affect some voting. We took the weekend to try and get things right, and we think we’re ready for the next round. (And yes, we’re trying to figure out what remedy, if any, we should apply.)

First, thank you to the thousands of people who voted in the nominating process, as well as all of you who added your favorite webcomics to the list. We’re adding all of the webcomics you suggested to our directory.

But now, the challenges start!

These are the top 128 webcomics you’ve chosen, and we’re running a single elimination tournament to winnow down to the favorite. There are so many webcomics, we’ve had to break them up into four divisions– Giraud, Moldoff, Robinson, and Simon. The winner of each division will get $25 in their tip jar and advance to the Final Four. Whoever ends in second place will get $50, and the winner will walk away with $100. UPDATE: And if you’re first to pick the Final Four, you will win a $50 gift card from Amazon!

The first round starts right now, and ends Friday at midnight. We’re starting with 64 contests, so go vote already!

Mix March Madness, Round 4: Quarter-Finals Play-by-Play! Polls close in Four Hours!

We’re down to the Elite Eight… Penny Arcade, Kawaii Not, A Distant Soil, Gronk, Erfworld, Wondermark, Girls With Slingshots, and Questionable Content! Erfworld is continuing to clobber all comers, and the closest contest is between A Distant Soil and Gronk, with Gronk ahead by a 3-2 margin.
