New ‘Incredible Hulk’ Film Footage

MTV Movies Blog recently posted a new clip from The Incredible Hulk, featuring a meeting between Betty Ros (Liv Tyler) and Hulk interrupted by a trigger-happy attack helicopter.

So, my question: Do the Hulk effects look better or worse this time around? I’ve posted some screenshots from the high-definition version of the trailer after the jump.

You can watch the high-definition version of the clip here.

The Incredible Hulk hits theaters June 13. (more…)

‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’ Trailer Now Online

I don’t know what’s more weird: Seeing the Warner Bros. "WB" shield instead of the 20th Century Fox spotlight logo on a Star Wars film or seeing a Star Wars movie done in the style of the TMNT movie from last year. But the fact remains, the Star Wars: The Clone Wars is real and it’s coming this summer, August 15, 2008!

We all knew that the Star Wars animated movie would take take place between Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith and continues with many of the characters and settings from Cartoon Network’s Star Wars: Clone Wars cartoons. But the trailer dropped some new details on us. Renegades have kidnapped Jabba the Hutt’s son. Obi-Wan had dealings with Jabba. Anakin returned to Tattooine. Anakin seems to have himself a young apprentice. Episode III isn’t the first time Anakin caught up to Count Dooku. And Yoda is really, really cute when done in CGI animation.

‘The Spirit’ Movie Release Date Moved Up

The Cinematical crew are reporting that Lionsgate is moving up the release date for Frank Miller’s adaptation of Will Eisner’s The Spirit from January 16 of next year to Christmas Day (December 25), 2008.

Here’s the new tale of the tape for The Spirit:

So instead of going up against Mall Cop, starring Kevin James as a wacky security guard, and the Notorious B.I.G. biopic, The Spirit will face off against Adam Sandler’s Bedtime Stories, the supposedly ultra-heartwarming Marley & Me, The Tale of Despereaux, and the aftershocks of Twilight and The Day the Earth Stood Still.

Oh, and if you haven’t seen the trailer for The Spirit yet that debuted at New York Comic Con, here it is:

NYCC: The New ‘Dark Knight’ Trailer

It was Day 2 at New York Comic Con and fans were practically jumping out of their seats with excitement as DC Comics Prez. Paul Levitz announced they would be getting to see, for the first time anywhere, the brand-spankin-new trailer for Batman: The Dark Knight. Unfortunately, Levitz told us we can’t tell you what happened in it, who appears in it or pretty much describe it in any way, shape or form on penalty of severe punishment.

However, here at ComicMix, we have no fear — plus, other sites like Wizard Online have already posted info on the trailer —  so we’re going to give you at least something to make you wish you’d been here at the Jacob Javitz Center in New York to see it.

What we can tell you is that it contained footage not seen before featuring several characters that have not appeared in past trailers for the film. Also, it has a lot of action, fights, bad guys, good guys, politicians and several things explode in extra cool ways. Plus, there’s a certain white-faced bad guy who makes several more appearances in this new trailer and we also get to hear him speak a lot more as well.

All in all, a very nice addition to the current lineup of trailers and other info for the movie.

As soon as we can give you more details about the film and the trailer itself — which is scheduled to be released in about two weeks — we’ll bring it to you.

Batman: The Dark Knight is set to hit theaters July 18.

Onion News Network Spoofs ‘Iron Man’ Film

Ever like the trailer more than the movie? Yeah, me too. If I wasn’t sneaking into half  of those movies, I’d be upset.

News parody site The Onion took that concept and added typical comic fan anti-buzz to the Iron Man movie trailer. Wouldn’t you have loved it if Superman Returns stayed a trailer?

Wildly Popular ‘Iron Man’ Trailer To Be Adapted Into Full-Length Film

New Footage From ‘Iron Man’ Now Online

Dear Paramount,

Please stop teasing us with Iron Man movie stuff. It’s getting to the point where the anticipation is actually causing physical pain. You’ve sold us. We’re there on opening day.

Thanks.

Apple.com’s movie trailer section scored an exclusive clip of Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark, taking flight for the first time in his Iron Man armor. Check out the site to see the clip in more formats than you ever knew were possible.

‘Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow” Trailer Debuts

Marvel has released the trailer for the upcoming Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow animated movie. The film follows the children of the original Avengers, who are forced to take up the mantles of their parents in order to battle Ultron and save the world.

A release date for the direct-to-DVD film has not yet been announced, but it is believed the film will debut in the second half of 2008.

Viewers can see a high-resolution version of the trailer at Marvel’s website.

Marvel Zombies: The Movie?

Audiences love superhero movies. They also love zombie movies. What if… What if Marvel Studios decided to greenlight Marvel Zombies: The Movie?

Sadly, this is not reality. But Ojala Productions created a fan made, not-for-profit trailer for the popular comic book that gives us a peak and what could be. Similar to Batman: Dead End, the famous internet short where the Dark Knight squared off against Joker, an Alien and a Predator, Marvel Zombies was filmed  as a calling card to show studios Ojala Productions’ capabilities.

New ‘Iron Man’ Game Trailer: Air Battle

Sick of all the Iron Man videogame news yet? If so, don’t bother reading this post… but we’re willing to bet that you’ll read it anyways. We’re diabolical like that.

For those of you who are interested in more news about the upcoming videogame adaptation of the film, or for anyone who’s simply impressed by the fact that Sega has defied expectations and made a movie-based game that actually looks good, we have you covered. (By the way, click here to see how movie-based games can go horribly wrong.)

Sega has released a new trailer for the upcoming game highlighting the golden Avenger’s aerial combat. And if that wasn’t enough to get you pumped, they scored it with Black Sabbath’s "Iron Man."

Full ‘Incredible Hulk’ Trailer Hits the ‘Net

I first brought you word of the upcoming trailer for the new Incredible Hulk movie last week when it was originally announced. Then yesterday, there was a sneak-peek available that showed some great bits from it to whet your appetite for the release of the full trailer.

And now, the wait is over and the actual full trailer is finally here and posted over at MTV’s website.

I won’t say more about the new trailer except that if the movie turns out half as good as the trailer looks, its gonna be a really fun ride. Check it out below or at MTV’s website if you want to see it in High-Def.
