Okay – grabbing is Right Out.
Verbal Harassment is uncool and should not be engaged in.
Being a (silently) drooling adolescent dork … is to be expected from a certain percentage of the crowd.
And, i have to say, if you dress up in a costume that was designed as fan-service for adolescent (chronologically or otherwise) fanbois, you’ve bought yourself some of that drooling hormone-infused adoration…
@Mike Weber: Could you PLEASE dump that whole “She *deserved* to be harassed/assaulted/raped because she wore sexy clothes” attitude back in the 1950s where it belongs? The entire POINT of the “Cosplay =/= consent” movement is that women ARE allowed to dress up, and it does NOT give the “hormone-infused” fanboys justification for acting like jerks. Boys, if you can’t go out in public and see women in “sexy” clothing without “drooling” and being a “dork”, F*CKING GROW UP ALREADY AND LEARN DECENT, RESPECTFUL BEHAVIOUR or stay home. I know developmentally-disabled/autistic fans who’ve managed to learn to interact with the opposite sex without being a$$holes; if they can do it, what’s YOUR excuse?
