I watched Super Friends when it was new and I have no recollection of that re-telling of Robin’s origin. How in the world did they do that without being able to show violence? After all, if the Graysons aren’t murdered, there’s no reason for Dick to end up with Batman.
On the other hand, I sure remember King Plasto–that episode got rerun a lot. I also remember some aliens who showed up on Earth and marveled at the fact that we still use wheeled vehicles to get around–and then their landing craft deployed a pair of legs and began running across the landscape!
